Some friendships are written in the stars, but ours was scribbled in meeting minutes! We met in 2013 while serving on the KAWS committee. Diane as secretary and Carol Leslie as chairperson. Between rescue missions and fundraising brainstorms, we discovered that not only were we a dynamic duo, but we also shared an uncanny ability to turn visions into reality.
As life often does, it led us on separate business adventures, yet our friendship remained unwavering. Then, in December 2024, after Diane faced the heartbreaking loss of her husband, Carol Leslie realized it was time for Epic Beyond Ordinary to truly live up to its name. With a partner-in-crime like Diane, the business could finally evolve into something extraordinary.
And so, we joined forces... not just as friends but as co-creators of epic experiences!
Diane: The Strategist & Powerhouse
With over 20 years of experience at Sun City, Diane is a powerhouse of event planning, gaming, and engineering administration. She has also owned a corporate gifting business, mastered the construction industry, and carries an unwavering passion for business growth in the Overberg region. If you need seamless logistics and an eye for detail, she’s got you covered!
Leslie: The Visionary & Wordsmith
After seven years in corporate event planning, marketing, and finance, Carol Leslie embraced her entrepreneurial journey in 2013. Armed with certifications in Evergreen Parenting Training, Tall Trees Temperament & Leadership Profiles, Digital Marketing, Social Media Strategy, and Copywriting for Conversions, she’s the creative force who breathes life into our and your brands.
